A hill located south of the Wizard of Wines that is part of the ancestral lands that once belonged to Strahd. An ancient burial mound with 12 - 20 suspiciously disturbed cairns is located upon it.

Recently one of the gems of life that maintain the fertility of the land in spite of the curse was stolen from here and used in a strange druidic ritual. A mysterious voice led Gale to the Spear of Kavan the Ruthless, and a magical axe was found in a bleeding tree.

The fog that surrounds Barovia seems to be different here than in other places. When Bell entered the fog to the west of the hill, he saw the image of a white fortress on a hill above a great city and heard the echoes of church bells.
