A young peasant woman who lived in Berez around 100 years ago. As one of the incarnations of Tatyana, she was pursued by Strahd von Zarovich. She was killed in an attempted act of mercy by the town's Burgomaster and priest, Lazlo Ulrich and Brother Grigor, who wanted to save her soul from damnation after she was bitten by Strahd. In revenge for her killing, Strahd flooded the land, causing the town to be abandoned.

There is a monument to her in the cemetery of Berez, enclosed by an iron fence. It is a statue of a kneeling peasant girl holding a flower, bearing the epitaph "Marina, taken by the mists," indicating that the Burgomaster and priest may have lied about her cause of death. When Bellerand inspected the statue, he saw bloated grey shapes begin to shamble out of the fog surrounding it.

While Izek Strazni has had recurring dreams of Ireena Kolyana, the ghost of the Burgomaster of Berez could recall no such dreams involving Marina during his lifetime.
