Crevices of Dusk
Master Jerot's notes indicated that he had been studying Crevices of Dusk, magical gateways to Evernight that can be found in Neverwinter and vice versa. Some are stable and permanent, such as the one inside the Dolindar crypt in Evernight, while others are unstable and can appear and disappear seemingly randomly, such as the one that appeared when the secret-draining ritual in Hallix Mausoleum was interrupted. The vampire Sangora and the elf Eldon Keyward are somewhat knowledgeable about the Crevices.
the Dessicated Man
Sarcelle Malinosh told us of a terrible vision that she has recently had: a dessicated man levitating off the ground, pulling evil energy around himself in wisps. He screamed and the energy exploded, causing something terrible to happen.
Intelligent Balguras
The Balguras being kept by the Vecna cultists in the Hallix mausoleum were seemingly more intelligent than usual. They had been carving names, possibly those of their victims, into the bricks of their room.
Neverember's Knowledge
It seemed to Pala that Lord Neverember might know more about the recent kidnappings than he was letting on.
Nightmares
Periodically, we awake from nightmares -- visions of the ritual we interupted, flashes of secret deals, etc. They become more elaborate and grotesque as time passes: people confessing under torture, images of Vecna cultists in robes, strange and horrible creatures.
Palenna's Whereabouts
Palenna Tindertoe floated away from the wreckage of her ship when it crashed into the Lambent Zenith and has not been seen since.
Shadowfell Crossroads
Eldon wrote something about "Shadowfell crossroads" in his notes after we escaped from the Hallix mausoleum.
the Sorceress' Powers
Sarcelle Malinosh recently lost her powers after visiting an unknown plane.
the Teeth of Vecna
Why did one of the lead cultists in the Hallix Mausoleum claim to be "the Teeth of Vecna"?
the Vampire Kas
A former compatriot of Vecna who eventually betrayed him, hundreds of years ago. Umberto believes he may still be alive.
